My Role: Creative Lead: concepting + copywriting (scripts, advertising assets) + production + content strategy
The Backstory: What do you do when your client asks you to create a wine pairing series to promote their new online store? You throw the wine rules out the window and go a little LoCA with it.
Lodi is not your average wine region, and as such they needed an above-average series that would highlight their irreverent spirit and experimental approach to winemaking. And that’s where Corkface and Forkface come in. This irreverent duo broke through the sea of stuffy wine sameness by pairing really good Lodi wines with real-life scenarios, and the results speak for themselves.

The Bonus: Our client was so inspired by two of our content pitches that they dug up the funding to produce both of ‘em. The bonus series, LoCA Thoughts, drew inspiration from SNL’s “Deep Thoughts with Jack Handy” and demonstrated the against-the-grain nature of this innovative wine region.
