My Role: Crisis communication copywriting (on a very tight timeline)
The Backstory: In the midst of the COVID-19 crisis, DoorDash needed a technology partner to help them deliver some very timely information to a very wary audience. As restaurants around the country closed their dining rooms, DoorDash reached out to us to help them spin up a crisis communication campaign that would quickly inform consumers that delivery is both safe and essential for supporting the 15.6 million people who serve us day in and day out.

Working collaboratively in a lightning-fast feedback loop allowed the DoorDash team to focus on finishing the campaign video, while we took on the challenge of turning a fledgling creative concept into a strategically built, written, and fully designed website in just 72 hours. We can’t take credit for the 3.37 million unique site visits in the first month, but we are proud to have played a pivotal role in helping DoorDash and The Martin Agency educate millions of consumers and turn this important message into an inspiring movement.
